With respect to paintings, my work is the result of knowing a place.  I leave the city as often as possible, and take long walks daily.  I'm hypersensitive to my surroundings, and continue to be in awe of the beauty surrounding us.  Puddles on the side of the road can initiate ideas in the same manner of beautiful vistas.  I'm always looking.
